The half-day journey promises to be one of the world’s most incredible helicopter adventures; operated by MONACAIR, the exclusive provider of all helicopter transport for Monaco’s royal family and government, as well as for visiting heads of state, this unique tour is operated with a state-of-the-art Airbus H130 helicopter, accommodating up to six passengers.

The tour departs from Monaco at 10:30am, arriving in time for a leisurely lunch at the Refuge of Tornieux, an authentic alpine chalet built in 1892 in a pristine mountain pasture. The traditional chalet was recently transformed into a charming mountain retreat and its terrace restaurant, facing Mont-Blanc in all its glory, is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal of traditional bougnettes, raclette and other classic French dishes.

After lunch, guests set off on a tour of the iconic Mont-Blanc, or ‘White Mountain’, famed for its summit, which is perennially covered in ice and snow. The highest peak in the Alps, Mont-Blanc rises 4,808 m (15,774 ft) above sea level, and is the 11th tallest peak on earth.

The spellbinding tour takes visitors around the otherwise inaccessible icy peaks to discover a fairytale world in snowy white for a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience – all from the comfort and safety of a luxury helicopter. Travellers then return to Monaco by helicopter, landing at the city’s bustling heliport in time for Mediterranean sundowners.

The price of the MONACAIR Helicopter Tour is €8,000 (US$8,920) per trip, including lunch at the Refuge of Tornieux, the tour of the Mont-Blanc, and VIP mini-van transfers from any of the principality’s hotels. www.monacair.mc
