German luxury watchmaker Glashütte Original departs from its solid and affordable timepieces with a beautifully-revealing skeletonized model that showcases the brand’s timeless craftsmanship to perfection.

With a sophisticated 42mm case framing a galvanic, skeletonized filigreed dial that reveals the complex mechanics of the manual wind 49-13 movement beyond, the new Senator Moon Phase Skeletonized Edition proudly presents its many different facets in a regular production model presented in white gold.

A true example of master craftsmanship, the movement’s complex open-worked and hand-engraved mechanics set the rhythm of the blued hour, minute and small second hands while also driving the moon phase display, positioned at 10 o’clock, whose finely worked skies are crafted in the watchmaker’s own dial manufactory in Pforzheim, Germany.

A separate display at 2 o’clock, marked with the words “auf” (up) and “ab” (down), reminiscent of the Glashutte Original 1845 Classic Up/Down with Moon Phase, is dedicated to the 40-hour power reserve. A dark blue Louisiana Alligator leather bracelet with foldover clasp underscores the elegance of this beautiful filigreed skeletonized timepiece. www.glashuette-original.com
